On August 4, 2014, DLA Piper announced that David J. Brummond has joined the firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance practice as of counsel in the Washington, D.C., office. Brummond had previously served as senior sanctions advisor (insurance) for the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control from 2006 to 2014.
